FedYet Privacy Policy

FedYet is a shared pet-feeding tracker for households. This policy describes what the app collects and why. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work, we do not run ads, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• A display name you choose, shown to your household members.
• Pet information: names, species, feeding schedules, and feeding/begging log entries created by your household.
• Pet photos you choose to upload, used solely to generate your pet's illustrated portrait.
• An app-generated account identifier (a Firebase authentication ID). Accounts are anonymous by default; you may optionally link Sign in with Apple for recovery. We do not collect your email address.
• Purchase status (whether your household's membership is active), received from Apple. Payment details never reach us — Apple handles all payment processing.
• A push notification token, if you enable feeding reminders.

How it's used

Everything above exists to run the app: syncing feedings across your household's phones, sending feeding reminders you asked for, generating your pet's portrait, and unlocking your household's membership. Nothing is used for advertising or tracking, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

Service providers

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions, push notifications) stores and processes app data on our behalf.
• Apple processes all purchases and Sign in with Apple.
• fal.ai processes uploaded pet photos to generate the illustrated portraits. Photos are sent for processing only and results are stored back in our storage.

Retention and deletion

Household data (feeding logs, schedules, portraits) is kept while the household exists. Deleting a pet deletes its photos and portraits. Leaving a household keeps your past log entries in that household's history. You can delete your account from inside the app (Family tab → Account), or contact us and we'll do it for you.

Children

FedYet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
